Hang Loose Lining

Hang Loose lining is the top selling lining in fabric stores across the country. Hang Loose linings can improve both the structure and visual appearance of a garment.

The Hange Loose fabric is engineered to be anti-static and anti-cling, qualities which improve the look and comfort of a garment. It can be machine washed and dried and it comes in 36 fashion colors.

Bemberg Rayon Lining

Bemberg is a lining that breathes and can be washed and dried by machine. It is engineered to be anti-cling and it resists wrinkles. It wears well and has a soft silky hand.

Because it resists wrinkling at the knees and in the seat area, Bemberg makes a good lining for skirts and slacks. Rayon breathes, allowing finished garments to be more comfortable.

Habotai Silk

In common usage, the terms habotai and China silk are interchangeable and denote a fine, lightweight silk used for scarves and lightweight, sheer garments. Habotai is a plain weave fabric with a soft sheen.

Habotai and China silk make an excellent lining for many fabric types not just other silks. Silk breathes which makes a garment more comfortable and the smooth finish of these fabrics allow garments to slip on and off gracefully. These silks do not add bulk but will add a slight amount of body and weight while remaining soft and fluid.

Consider Adding a Hang Loose Lining to Your Project

Hang Loose linings are the top selling linings in fabric stores across the country. Hang Loose linings can improve both the structure and visual appearance of a garment.

A garment lined with Hang Loose lining drapes nicely. Clinging due to moisture or static can be eliminated with a Hang Loose lining.

Linings are recommended for many projects and for a variety of reasons. They add a measure of comfort to heavier, bulky apparel. Linings help these kinds of garments move with the body and make pulling on and off easier, especially if the sleeves are long.

Linings may also be recommenced for lighter weight garments to make them opaque, to add bulk and weight, to protect the shell fabric or to produce a finished look for the inside of the garment.

A garment lined with Hang Loose lining will have a longer life. The lining protects the shell fabric from perspiration while the inner structure absorbs the stress and strains of movement. There will be fewer strained and opened seams.

Hang Loose linings are washable and dry cleanable and pose no special care requirements.
